Kone

Named after the Finnish word for “machine," KONE was founded in 1910 in Helsinki, Finland as a machine repair shop. Over a century later, KONE enables smooth flow of millions of people in urban centres across the world. KONE operates in more than 60 countries around the world and employs over 60,000 employees globally.



OTIS

Otis is a leading manufacturer and maintainer of people-moving products, including elevators, escalators and moving walkways. Founded in 1853 by the inventor of the safety elevator Elisha Otis, Otis offers products and services through its companies in approximately 200 countries and territories. Otis is 69,000 people strong and operates through 1,400 branches and offices around the world.


 

SCHINDLER

Schindler Group was founded in 1874 in Lucerne Switzerland by precision engineer Robert Schindler. Schindler Elevator Corporation is the North American operating entity of Schindler Group, with over 160 locations in North America. Behind their success are more than 65,000 employees in over 100 countries. They serve customers from more than 1,000 branch offices worldwide.


Tk Elevator

TK Elevator dates back to the 1860s and 1880s when their predecessor companies were founded in Hamburg and Stuttgart, Germany. In March of 1999, two separate groups, Thyssen and Krupp, merged to become ThyssenKrupp. In September 2016, ThyssenKrupp Northern Elevator officially made the transition to ThyssenKrupp Elevator (Canada) Ltd. On February 25, 2021, ThyssenKrupp launched their new company name and brand. ThyssenKrupp Elevator is now called TK Elevator with a new global brand - TKE. Today, TK Elevator has customers in over 100 countries served by 50,000 employees, with over 1,000 locations around the world.
